Micromax Introduced Android cum Windows 8 Tablet "LapTab"
MicroMax has unveiled the LapTab Tablet, which will run both Windows 8 and Android Jellybean Operating Systems in CES 2014.
Previously, Micromax has launched many Android Tablets and It is quite popular too in India. Now, the company has developed the Dual-boot tablet Called “LapTab”. This company is first Dual-boot Tablet Manufacturer in India.
Micromax LapTab offers a 10.1-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels.
Micromax said,
The Intel-powered LapTab is the first dual-boot Windows and Android tablet. The device is aptly designed for multitasking across operating platforms and users would need to simply reboot the device and select the alternate option to switch from Windows to Android and vice versa.
Tablet is powered by 1.46GHz Intel Celeron processor, with the 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory, which can be expanded via a microSD card slot. It sports 2MP front camera with light sensor and have added a 7,400mAh battery inside.
LapTab includes some other connectivity features: Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and A-GPS. You can also add the external Detachable wireless keyboard
Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma said,
“We would be unveiling an array of innovative products across international markets in next six months for which Micromax is known for”
The tablet with Accessories will hit the Indian Market on Feb, 2014. The sale price of the tablet is not disclosed. However, the Micromax is known for its budget price Smartphones. You can expect the price of this Tablet will be in mid-range.
