Tutorial: How to update/install Android 4.3 Jelly Bean in Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0

Requirements:

1. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Device ( This installation method will work only on Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 )

2. Hope you installed USB drivers in your computer to connect device with computer.

3. Get backup of your Tab's all personal information. (optional)

4. Your Galaxy Tab must be charged up to 70%

5. Enable USB debugging mode on the device. Go to "Settings > Applications > Development > USB  debugging mode" or "Settings > Developer options > USB debugging"

6. Download the HellFireROM for the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 and the Google Apps package to the computer.

How to install ( Step by Step Process )

1. Connect your Galaxy Tab 2 with computer using USB

2. Now, copy and paste HellFireROM and Google Apps Package into SD card of your Galaxy Tab 2 without extract the files.

3. Disconnect Galaxy Tab 2 from PC and Switch it Off.

4. Reboot into Recovery mode by pressing and holding the Volume Up, Home and Power keys at the same time till the Samsung logo appears.

5. Create nAndroid backup of the current ROM inside the RecoveryMode by selecting "backup and restores > backup" The saved ROM is stored inside the microSD card of the Galaxy Tab 2.

6. Perform a full wipe on the device. Select "wipe data/factory reset" and "wipe cache partition" Then select "advanced > wipe Dalvik cache"

7. Go back to the main menu and then install the HellFireROM. Select "install zip from SD card > choose zip from SD > search the ROM you have copied earlier > confirm installation" Apply the same with the Google Apps Package.

8. Once the installation has been completed, go back and then select "reboot system now"

9. Now, Your Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 will reboot and it may take up to few minutes before reaching the home screen.
